Black Tusk resides on the southern tip of the Coast Range in southwestern British Columbia. Though not a part of the Cascade Range, the two areas have much in common visually. This stunning terrain is located fifteen miles south of the town of Whistler in Garibaldi Provincial Park. Lush Taylor Meadows sits just below the alpine home of Black Tusk where rock and ice dominate the landscape. If you are primarily a Washington State hiker like me, the scenery offers something both familiar and unique.
