Image Lake is located just north of Glacier Peak in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. The trip to Image Lake can be done in one day, but only by the most hearty individuals, so naturally, I made it a 2-day trip. The trip begins by hiking 10 miles up the Suiattle River Trail. At this point there is a fork that leads UP Miner's Ridge about 6 miles to Image Lake.
Fortress Mountain, and other peaks in the vicinity of Suiattle Pass.
Fortress Mountain.
The smoke from all the summer wild fires made the views very hazy.
The view I had from camp.
This Marmot was relaxing in his burrow, he came out a bit further only to be scared by a grasshopper.
Plummer Mountain.
